OctacoMFA (Zero Trust FIDO2 Platform)

1. Principle of Technology

OctacoMFA is Korea’s only platform-based passwordless user authentication service that supports the latest FIDO2 mobile biometric authentication, PC biometric authentication, and FIDO security key biometric authentication all on a single platform.
Designed as a platform rather than a system-integrated solution, it allows integrated management of user authentication across various devices and environments. It is the only Phishing-resistant MFA capable of defending against all known user account attacks.

2. Architecture

The MFA server and mobile PUSH server are architected in a redundant configuration, enabling mobile fingerprint authentication and OTP usage via the mobile PUSH server.

3. Process

You can use OctacoMFA through the following steps: User Registration, Policy Setting, App Installation, Mobile Device Registration, and Authentication Device Registration.

Ezfinger (FIDO Fingerprint Security Key)

① Safe and convenient security (Korea’s only FIDO security key)

The Ezfinger fingerprint security key series combines FIDO2 and Windows Hello technologies to provide convenient access to PC login, MS365, and Entra ID authentication, as well as over 2,000 global services such as Gmail and Salesforce, without installing separate software.
Unlike general biometric authentication, it authenticates various factors simultaneously, including the user’s biometrics, Ezfinger device information, and IP information, maintaining high security in diverse environments.
Additionally, it offers high compatibility with cloud and on-premise applications, enabling easy integration with internal corporate security infrastructure, enhancing both user security and convenience.

② Top-level security strength

Octaco Ezfinger meets Level 3, the highest security certification standard of NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). As a FIDO-certified product, it does not store biometric information on a server but securely stores it within the security key’s secure element, making it safe from external threats such as server breaches.
